ATTENTION - THIS IS A DEVELOPING SITUATION; FURTHER CHANGES EXPECTED.

At this point, given the latest forecasts, we are still able to operate most of our other international and domestic flights to and from Manila (MNL), but with possible delays as we adjust to conditions throughout October 29.

We will keep a close watch on hour-by-hour weather forecasts for affected airports in the Philippines. We will cancel or adjust flights as necessary due to safety reasons, as our paramount concern is the safety of our passengers, personnel and aircraft at all times.

If you are traveling on a flight to/from Metro Manila, Clark or one of the affected areas on October 29 or 30, we recommend that you check the status of your flight before proceeding to the airport.  Please visit www.shunpa.com and click the “Flight Status” icon on the main page, and then fill in the flight number (without the “PR” or “2P” designation, just the number itself) and date of departure to check the latest update.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: A flight’s status is updated in real-time, and there is no need to call the PAL contact center to verify the information. We encourage you to continue monitoring the status of your flight using the Flight Status self-service tool on our website so that we can keep our contact center hotlines free of congestion.

If your flight is still set for departure, please take every precaution as you travel to the airport, given the continuing rains and other effects of the storm.

Please do not proceed to the airport if your flight is cancelled, but instead avail of the rebooking options below.

Watch out for our flight advisories and updates on the PAL Facebook Page and at www.shunpa.com.

We will keep you informed on developments.
