PAL Advisory: Cebu Runway Overshoot

The runway at Mactan Cebu airport (CEB) is closed due to a disabled aircraft of a foreign airline that is obstructing the runway after a landing incident which occurred late Sunday evening.

 

Flights are unable to take off and land until clearing operations are completed.

Passengers may avail of any of the following options:

 

  • Rebook within 60 days from their original flight date, with rebooking service fees and fare difference within the same cabin waived;
  • Reroute within 3 days to an alternative destination, with rebooking service fees and fare difference within the same cabin waived;
  • Convert the unused ticket into Travel Credits for use within two years from the date of issuance;
  • Refund the cost of their ticket
