ALERT for CEBU: MOBILE NETWORK SERVICES TO BE HALTED DURING SINULOG
Attention: Passengers departing from and arriving in Cebu on January 14 and 15, 2023
Mobile network services in the following areas will temporarily be unavailable during the Sinulog event in Cebu over the weekend, according to the National Telecommunications Commission:
a. January 14, 2023 (Saturday) – 04:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu – coinciding with the Sinulog Fluvial Procession
b. January 14, 2023 (Saturday) – 12:00 PM to 08:00 PM
Uptown/Downtown Cebu City – coinciding with the Solemn Procession in the city
c. January 15, 2023 (Sunday) – 5:00 AM to 07:00 PM
Downtown Cebu City and SRP (South Road Properties) – coinciding with the Sinulog Grand Parade
Thus, there will be no signal, direct and/or reflected, coming from any cell sites in the areas covered by the Sinulog festivities.
We encourage you to plan ahead for any important errand that requires mobile services during the affected times.
